Computer Numerical Control machining

-- Steady & Reliable Manufacturer --

Introduction

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining is a subtractive manufacturing process in which pre-programmed software controls the movement of machine tools — lathes, milling spindles, drill heads, and more — to remove material from a solid workpiece and produce a finished part to precise dimensional specifications.

Fenglan has operated CNC machining centers since our founding in 2010, continuously investing in equipment and process capability to serve automotive, industrial, and electrical precision part buyers worldwide. Our shop floor runs multi-axis turning centers, 3- and 4-axis vertical machining centers, and Swiss-type CNC lathes, giving us the flexibility to machine small complex parts (sub-10 mm) through to medium-size components (up to 600 mm).

We work in a broad range of materials — aluminum alloys, brass, stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium, copper, and engineering plastics — and support both high-volume production runs and low-volume prototype quantities from a single piece upward.

Applications

  • Automotive: Engine components, transmission parts, brake system housings, sensor brackets, and EV battery module hardware.
  • Industrial Machinery: Pump bodies, valve seats, manifold blocks, precision shafts, and bearing housings for process equipment.
  • Electrical & Electronics: Heat sinks, connector housings, motor shaft assemblies, and EMI shielding enclosures.
  • Medical Devices: Surgical instrument components, implant trial pieces, diagnostic equipment housings, and fluid-handling manifolds.
  • Aerospace & Defense: Structural brackets, actuator components, and precision housings where material traceability and tight tolerances are non-negotiable.
  • Consumer Products: Camera mounts, drone frames, bicycle components, and wearable device enclosures where surface finish and dimensional accuracy drive user experience.

Advantages

  • High Repeatability: CNC eliminates operator variability. Once a program is proven, every subsequent part is identical — critical for interchangeable assemblies and mass production.
  • Tight Tolerances: Achievable tolerances of ±0.005 mm on critical features surpass the capabilities of casting, forging, or 3D printing for precision-critical applications.
  • Material Flexibility: One machining center can process aluminum, brass, steel, and plastics with tooling changes only — no re-investment in new equipment per material.
  • Scalable Volumes: Economical from single prototypes (no tooling cost) through millions of production pieces, with per-unit cost declining as volume rises.
  • Complex Geometry: Undercuts, internal threads, cross-holes, and compound curves that cannot be cast or forged are routinely achievable with multi-axis CNC.
  • Fast Turnaround: Digital workflow from CAD file to machined part in as little as 3 days for prototypes, supporting agile product development cycles.
