Fuse Disconnect Terminal Block Overview

A fuse disconnect terminal block combines the functions of a terminal block, an inline fuse holder, and a circuit disconnect in a single DIN-rail module. The fuse carrier lifts out with a screwdriver or by hand, providing a visible open-circuit indication and simultaneous circuit isolation — no separate fuse holder or isolator needed.

Fenglan's fuse disconnect terminal blocks accept 5×20 mm glass fuses, 5×20 mm ceramic fuses, 6.3×32 mm medium-time-lag fuses, and solid-state fuse equivalents up to 32 A, covering 24 V DC instrumentation through to 400 V AC motor branch circuits. LED load-side voltage indication is available for quick blown-fuse identification without removing the fuse carrier.

Application

Fuse disconnect terminal blocks replace separate fuse holders and isolators wherever individual circuit protection and local disconnect are required at the terminal level:

  • Instrumentation and control panels — 24 V DC field device circuit protection — one fuse per sensor or transmitter loop
  • PLC power supplies — individual MCB-less branch protection for 24 V logic and I/O power rails
  • Motor control centers — individual motor branch circuit fusing between the main breaker and the contactor
  • Building management systems — zone controller and field device circuit isolation for maintenance without shutting down the whole panel
  • LED driver and lighting control — individual luminaire circuit fusing in entertainment and architectural lighting panels
  • Solar combiner boxes — individual PV string overcurrent protection between module strings and the main DC disconnect
  • HVAC and refrigeration — compressor, fan motor, and control circuit fusing in rooftop unit control panels
