KW Series Automatic Reset Thermal Protector

Instructions and Applications:

The KW series thermal protector is an automatic temperature-responsive device. When heat from the protected appliance raises the temperature and reaches the preset trip value, the bimetal element actuates, causing the contacts to open and cutting off the circuit. When the temperature falls below the reset value, the bimetal returns to its initial state, the contacts close, and the circuit is re-energized.Since the metal case is electrically live, this series is equipped with an insulating sleeve for safe operation.
