18AM Series Thermal Overload Protection Thermal Protector

Principle and Structure:

When the heat generated by the protected appliance is transmitted to the bimetal element and reaches its preset operating temperature, the bimetal element deforms, causing the contacts to open and interrupt the circuit.

When the temperature drops to the reset value, the bimetal element returns to its initial state, the contacts close, and the circuit resumes operation.

18AM series thermal protector has the features of small volume, sensitive induction, excellent tightness, and precise temperature. It is mainly used for safety protection in small motors under 0.5 hp, transformers, rectifiers, batteries, and appliances.
